How long until I'm a pilot?

The timeline depends on your proficiency and how frequently you train. We recommend flying 3 lessons per week when possible. The FAA minimum for a Private Pilot License is 40 hours, though most students complete training in around 60 hours.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available, so you can start training without paying for everything upfront. Visit our financing page to learn about our partners.

What are the minimum requirements for each certification?

Private Pilot License requires a minimum of 40 flight hours (average is around 60). Instrument Rating requires 50 hours cross-country as PIC, 40 hours of instrument time, and 15 hours with an authorized instructor. Commercial Certificate requires a minimum of 250 total flight hours.

How long is a lesson?

A standard lesson is 2 hours long. Depending on your schedule and training goals, longer flights can also be arranged. Your instructor will work with you to plan sessions that fit your pace.

When can I train?

Lessons and flights can be scheduled any day of the week, subject to instructor and aircraft availability. We work around your schedule, whether you're a weekday morning person or a weekend flier.
